Hello everyone,
for any of you using the paid version of keywordtool.io, how does the tool estimate search volume for youtube?
When you are familiar with it you know can switch between google, youtube and a few market places. However, while it shows exact search volume for google (probably getting data from keyword planner directly) it says ESTIMATED for all other provided platforms.
Now having used the paid version for quite some time I noticed that estimated search on almost every keyword far exeeds volume for youtube when compared to google.
I do understand that based on search intention you'd probably have higher volume on youtube for terms such as "how to" and "DIY" but even for buyer keywords it often shows much higher results.
Same happens with estimated searches for amazon and ebay btw.
I wonder by how much you have to lower estimated search volume in order to receive somewhat accurate results. Is there any algorythm behind? I haven't found any definitive information on it. Or based on experience, is their estimated search for youtube completely worthless?
On that account, does anyone of you know of a better tool than keywordtool.io to collect and compare search volume when doing keyword research for youtube, amazon & ebay?
