Q about some web2.0s no follow links?

I make some social accounts and web2.0s where the website is not clickable.

example is buzzfeed. I have website url in 'about section' but it's not clickable (unlike lets say twitter)

question is does this help with rankings? a link people can click to money site passes link juice through so thats good... but if you can't click on the link is it worth creating those accounts / do those accounts do anything / help with rankings?

My personal opinion is that non clickable links (raw URL?s) helps with brand building

It?s G00gle safe and very few webmasters will see it as spam

You shouldn?t do it if you require/expect short term ranking improvements but if you?re a genuine business then it should help you over the long term; especially if it?s also a brand for offline outlets
 
i just want rank a website though. Does it do anything as far as helping with rank? or i should just stick with clickable links in these properties for the linkjuice?
 
IMO Clickable links is but obvious to get traffic and branding,non-clickables are just like content so no benefits by using that.
 
Non clickable = useless

nofollow = useless

Google made do follow and nofollow for a reason, dont fall for the "nofollow links build/pass authority crap"

To check if a certain platform uses do-follow or no-follow just right click and check page source to see if outgoing links are rel="nofollow" or rel="********".
