The last notable recovery I worked on was after the August 2023 Core Update. The site saw about a 30% drop in organic traffic. We prioritized a deep content audit, improving relevance, merging thin content, and removing outdated posts. Alongside that, we optimized internal linking and cleaned up some toxic backlinks. By November 2023, we saw about a 20% traffic recovery, and by January 2024, the site had bounced back to its pre-update traffic levels, even surpassing it slightly.

Key is finding subreddits where your niche hangs out and becoming an active member. Join niche communities, comment, post, gain karma and trust, and where appropriate, you can even insert a link. In the profile description, describe your company or website, add a link in the Links section. Also, check Reddit ads

You can never completely guard against updates, because they constantly affect different things and it's impossible to predict anything. The only strategy is to continue to strengthen high-quality content, preferably without the participation of AI, check the site for errors from time to time, and build links.

The best way to know if a platform's SEO algorithm has been changed?

My site is as per ahref authority of 13, i have not created backlinks to internal page. This is how my site structure looks like
Home page
Service pages 1
Service pages 2
Service pages 10

All services pages shows keywords in ahref from 0 - 20 hard range

Should I keep building backlinks from forums, guest post etc with brand name anchor, generic pointing to home page so that all internal services pages keyword automatically start ranking higher or I should get those 0-20 hard range keywords and make exact anchor text by using guest post, pbn?
