Quora is the big winner here. The key is to NOT aim for quantity...aim for quality. Spend 30-60 minutes creating the best possible answer to a given question and include several resources that support your answer, including a link to your site. Remember, this will only work well if your answer is chosen as "Best Answer" and is stickied to the top of the comments. If it isn't chosen as Best Answer, you're pretty much wasting your time - so make sure you offer some great information.

I would say yes. It has to be part of a natural backlink profile. I would pace them out and make them look human and real. It would also have great traffic value on them too.

I've tried this. authoritative services are being indexed very fast, and good for links, and if the question is popular you can get a big bunch of traffic.

Q&A is the great way to get traffic.
    --------------------------
Quora - The best knowledge sharing website that people refer to go here and grab the knowledge from here;if you do promote your website here smartly, your website can get some good reputation as well clicks also.

Yahoo Answer - I do not think,it needs any introduction that minimum 1 million people visit here daily.
The best place to get traffic.

Answer.com, ask.com,answerbag are also such great source to get traffic and best for SEO. :)

Yes, absolutely it would. Q&A sites are a great way to connect with your core market, build your business brand, get more targeted traffic to your site and improve your SEO.

Just write detailed and informative answers that do not look like a spam so they will stick and get voted as the best answer.

Here are some Q&A sites to get you started:

    • Quora
    • Yahoo Answers
    • StackExchange
    • Askville
    • AnswerBag
    • BlurtIt
    • The AnswerBank
    • AllExperts
    • Spring.me
Best of luck with your SEO efforts! :)

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
