[Q&A+Journal] Newbie against big G

Hi guys! Let it be mini journal for all newbies like me.
I'm currently running two MNS, but I'll talk about one of it.
All linkbuilding I'll do by myself to see is it possible to start with nothing.

As you can see - competition is not too tight, but I have a pr5 competitor on 2nd position.


What I've done already

1. I've ordered SEO service from one of BHW members (offering 3.1$/mo seo)
2. Added articles to articlebase, articlesnatch, ezinearticles, goarticles, articlestreets
3. I've added 20 spinned articles to public wordpress article sites
4. I've done 6 web 2.0 properties
5. Added 30 wiki-style links
6. Added 3 articles to site aimed to related long tail kw (260/110/91 exact searches/mo).
7. Daily submit created links to pingdevice

Current results

not in top 20

My Questions

1. My links are really poor indexed (I have only 11 backlinks in webmaster tool, but I should have 30 at least). How to make them index faster? (Manually, without software) ?

2. Some of my properties are indexed but do not appear in wmtool? Why?

Today I've got some links indexed and they appeared in wmtool.

So here is current position:

Main kw [1300 exact searches]: 13/not in top 100
kw 1 [110]:3/51
kw 2 [110]:1/20
kw 3 [260]:1/36

I've published 4 articles by now.

if u want quick rank. create some high page rank edu link. and more than 5 PR comment back links

Seems I have really big problems since now this site is #1 (btw, it's index page have pr6). Yes, this is huge educational site

Today action

1. Created an article on kw [110 exact searches]
2. Added 5 articles to article directories from post 1
3. Pinged them all

So here is positions by now:
