I have a question regarding phone verified accounts, hoping some twitter experts can share their opinion.

I have a few aged twitter accounts that I setup since 2009-2010 era. These accounts are all phone verified to a SIM card that i have access to.

I understand the dangers of twitter botting, but i also heard that a locked account can be easily unlocked if it's phone verified.

My question is, can twitter completely suspend a PVA account for exceeding follow / like limits, so that unlocking is not even possible, thereby losing access forever? Let's assume that the account niche is safe -- nothing gambling, porn or hate-related.

Technically there is no limit for likes / follow in Twitter. They monitor the aggression of activities. If they sense that you are abusing the system to grow your accounts OR If you make aggressive activities like following too many users in a short time, Definitely the account will end up banned. It doesn't matter how safe your niche is.
    * If the account gets one week suspension, It will be lifted in 7 days and you can access it again.
    * If the account ask for phone number, email confirmation or follow specific instructions, Then also you may gain back the access.

If none of the above work, You need to contact support but unfortunately they are not very good at it.

I'm starting off slow, and will ramp the numbers up bit by bit each day.

My current daily follow limit is set at 35, likes limit at 55. Starting botting yesterday so today is day 2. Is that too slow? It's for an aged account that that has been posting regularly.

That's normal. You can increase the limits a bit. Try to engage the accounts in more activities like Tweets and Re-tweets. Keep them as much organic as you can.

Twitter suspensions have no consistency since a few months now. You can get banned for just about anything with any type of account, with aged PVAs too. Just check posts in the Twitter section starting from March.
One thing which helps, if the accounts were created from residential ips back then and you didn't buy them, so the ips are clean for sure.

I'm planning to increase the limits by 10 every day. For example, 25 yesterday and 35 today and so on.

I'm still doing manual tweets and retweets for my content, and some selected curated likes. But generally i'm using the bot to automate the follow/unfollow/mass like process.

My aged and newer accounts (by new, i mean a year old) are all created on residential IPs. That being said, the IPs are dynamic and my ISP changes them every few months. However, they tend to stay with the same range.

As far as manual work is concerned, You are doing good. Just don't make a pattern of any activity. Drip feed the tweets / re-tweets daily and gradually increase the counts. While using automation, maintain some delays. As HoNeYBiRD quoted, There is no consistency in suspensions.

Thanks, I have conservative delays setup on my account now. I'm also not running my bot program throughout the day, instead at only selective times. I also plan to give it a rest on some days - like a human who 'forgot' to log in :)

@OP - got some accts suspended this evening .they were aged accts from 2012 (only about 10% of the batch were lost)..

I was using FL and following about 100-ish per day.. on daytime schedule.

they were not even posting links of any kind.. 1st time this has ever happened to me.

They had just come out of ghosting earlier today.

As Honeybird notes, supensions do not seem to be that predictable anymore. 90% of the other accts doing same follow/unfollow, etc.. not affected.

Sorry for your suspended accounts. Are they PVA and do you have access to the SIMs to unlock them?

Did you start off following at 100+ or were you building from a smaller number, like 10-20?

Yeah, it's totally random. Once I got suspended some accs which were scraping only, while other accs that were following and spamming links aggressively on same proxies were not affected. And I'm not talking about fresh accs, but accs that were aged and were scraping for a year or so. So yeah, its totally random. Building accs with residential ips doesn't help ether. It's a myth. Got all my old accs built with home ips banned over time ass well. What helps a bit, is an age of accs activity. But if you want traffic due to ghosting nonsense you just have to mass follow/like, have links etc.. and by running accs this way these days is nearly impossible to grow them, or keep them active for a year or so..
