Anyone got any experience with that? I have a (pretty sporadic) supply of electronics I can provide at really good prices and I wanted to partner with local fast food to help me promote my goods.

Will providing them with scotch tape and a pack of fliers to put on their boxes OK? I was thinking of just buying a regular stapler at staples and giving it to them, but it's a meh proposition.

It's definitely worked before, just take an example flyer to them, and show it to them.

Obviously for them to want to put it on there it's going to need to include some promotion for them, so give them the header (Top of the page, with their business name + contact info), and a third of the page for coupons that they can offer.

Good idea imprint, I didn't think of that.

My original idea was to offer a 5-10% profit share but that sounds like a lot better alternative.

There was a thread about this about 2 or 3 years ago (now I sound old! :D ).
Bassssically... It worked. Do it! :)

This is a method that I messed with a while back, but I put a twist on it. While it takes a little work, . I first called pizza shops and offered them free menu printing, then called other businesses and sold them ad spots on the part of the flyer that was left over after putting on the menu or pizza offers. This covers your costs and even gives you a profit. Just make sure to save yourself one of the ad spots for your cpa offer and you have free ad placements. After testing this however I found that I made more money just selling the ad spot that I would have saved for myself in the long run. I think I might try this again however, but with something not CPA, but long term, maybe an affiliate program with residuals or capture my own leads, etc...

Ya I was going to say I remember a super long thread about pizza flyers and netflix mainly. I'll try and find it if I recall correctly there were quite a few people who posted their conversions - probably worth checking out to get an idea of how well it works

This method is explained in "offline dragon" I believe it is, expect it explains how to sell ad space on pizza boxes to businesses in your area, but you can definitely do it with your own business.

The idea of using fliers is very innovative. I have seen that partners have a win-win situation in it.Thanks.

definitely workable, like people have said before make sure you agree with the company and have some sort of promotion from them, or for them as well! good luck!

I like the pizza box idea and feel it would be very efficient. I see timothywcrane's idea the best though. If you "offer" them a menu printing they will probably be more than happy to help you because it's benefiting them. Plus a menu is something people would actually look at, as a pizza fan I can honestly say that I only look at things attached to my box if it has coupons, otherwise it doesn't get a second glance and goes in the trash with the box. The menu on the other hand is almost always kept and stuck to my fridge for future reference. Also, between the tape and staple option, I'd go with tape. The tape is easy to adhere and easy to remove for the consumer, plus the stapler would be more work for the pizza employees to staple it to the top without squishing the cardboard. I hope that makes sense!
