I know you've told me how to set it up, I'm saying that I've encountered a technical issue that has nothing to do with setting it up, it has to do with conflicting .php files that aren't allowing me to view the file that lets me set it up.

Must be an issue with the template you are using then

The permissions thing could be a template not compatible with your wp version, or conflicting plugins or... errr... permissions set wrong.

I'd go with conflicting plugins.

The ******* plugin should work perfectly (and the leadbolt one does too). Try updating your wp version, use the default theme, disable all plugins, activate the ******* plugin, see what happens and work from there.
