I have purchased some pr4 domains on godaddy auctions and im going to use the domains as buffer sites. Will it be a problem putting new content on these sites even if the domain names sound like they are un related to the new content.for example if i bought a domain name which has pagerank and called insuranceguy.com and put cooking recipes on the domain are there any problems in doing so? Will the domain still be pr4?

The domain name is only minimally used in ranking calculations. As many domains are unrelated to the content of the domain Google really only uses this as a signal if there is a direct correlation between domain name and page content, and overall site theme. For instances where domain names are unrelated to the site theme or page content it's more or less an ignored factor.

Look the name of the domain and your current content has nothing to do with Google. The only thing is , if you have domain on insurance niche ..and the page rank is 4 already...it may be due to that fact that it had got some good Link juice from related domains/High pr domains with relevant content...
Now if you are making new links (obviously you would be doing this, no?) with another niche content...your serp is going to be effected.

A domain's PageRank is completely based on incoming links and doesn't have anything to do with the content on the website. The pr will remain as long as the incoming links to the site which gives the website PR4 are still alive or not deleted.
