Put URL in Shorts comment not linking

I put the URL of my site in the first comment of my Shorts but it's just text and not clickable. Are links not allowed now or is there a solution?

YouTube has been rolling out a change since August 31, 2023, to disable links in Shorts comments and descriptions to cut down on spam and scam attempts.
