Hello!

Happy new year y'all wishing you a successful one. Unfortunately, I'm starting it very badly.

Long story short I've checked 'discourage search engines from indexing this site' on my website with ~30K unique daily visits website. Today my traffic dropped by ~40% I'm not being indexed on the important keywords in google anymore.

Please, give me some advice on how I can return to my top 3 positions at google.

Thanks!

Patience buddy.
That’s all you need . Make a recrawl or leave as-is if you don’t want to force reindex.

I once had a case of e-commerce product page dropping drastically in revenue which was as a result of Technical SEO hired . Jumped on it and figured the RM plug-in was leaving no-index tag on the affected product page . Removed it , get it cleaned, allowed it to index naturally and the page was back to it’s position on SERP.

Immediately reverted back the settings and put all deindexed pages to be crawled. I’m going to buy some quality back links for sure.

Thank you guys for the suggestions. I’m going to keep up the thread updated.

Day #2 from being deindexed: -50% drop

Remove the noindex and build few quality backlinks and things will eventually get back to normal in few weeks.
Welcome back home bud. Hope all is well with you and Happy New year. :)

Remove the tags and send the top performing pages to be recrawled,
There's nothing much to do other than that, things takes time and you'll have to be patient about it

I've been seeing a ~40% traffic increase since yesterday.

Thank you all!

Everything got back to normal. Thank you guys!
