I saw this happen once when a little girl walked around a house in base housing and inadvertently walked into the chain reach of a dog that was tied up.

It seemed to me that the dog startled the little girl and when he realized she was actually scared, he attacked.

I and my children had always walked around that corner, but we knew to be wary and he didn't bother us (my children were much older).

That might be what happened here.

You cant take anything from cats, though. They may be evil little bastards, but they are fearless.

My brother lives in Cut N Shoot, and they have this cat (The cat has two different color eyes, and it is creepy as hell.) that I saw kick the ass of four labs and a rott. He was walking along the edge of the house and jumped down just as the neighbors dog got out. That dog streaked across the yard right at the cat, and the labs joined him in a bum's rush into the fray.

That cat never stopped moving and never stopped drawing blood untill we managed to pull the dogs back. In the end, dog hair was everywhere, all 5 dogs were cut and bleeding, and they never even touched the cat. He sat in that circle of snarling dogs like Bruce Lee with a set of Nunchakus and bad case of constipation waiting for anything.

I don't like cats, I am a dog person and they creep me out. Nothing that throws up a hairball needs to live with me unless they can clean up after themselves.

But I respect them.

If I remember right, the old word from Norse (?),Danish (?) for a woman was Puss. This was used like Colleen was/is? used in Ireland.

I believe that the addition of the "y" was a gradual adaptation and referred to the genitalia of a Puss.


Not sure I remember all that right though, its been any years since I looked it up.
