push + pop together

I’ve seen mixed opinions on combining push and pop traffic. Some say it still works if optimized properly, but others report declining performance lately. Would be good to hear recent real case studies from people running it in 2026.

Yeah it can still work, just depends how clean you keep the setup and targeting.

yes working , had experience push and pop with admaven , had really good results

You can run push + pop together, but the tricky part is they behave completely differently.

Push has at least some level of intent (user subscribed), while pops are basically forced traffic, so mixing them without separating logic usually messes up optimization.

What worked better for me was treating them almost like 2 different campaigns:

  • push → more angle/creative testing
  • pop → more zone filtering + fast optimization

If you just send both into the same funnel without adjusting, data gets noisy and it’s hard to scale anything.

Curious — are you trying to run them to the same offer/lander or separate flows?

Depends on your network tbh, but the combination is great especially if you have good amount of mobile traffic with Tier 1 GEOs

Push for quality, pop volume. Running both together works well if the traffic filtered properly.

Anyone here using push + pop together? Does it still work?

Yes, it’s actually a great setup for boosting ad effectiveness and revenue. I use the combination of push notifications and Monetag popunders on a couple of websites, and it works really well. When the subscription prompt pops up, users have to click “Yes” or “No,” but even if they don’t subscribe, they still have to click, which triggers the popunder ad.

yes bro it still prints if u target tier 2 or 3 geos with simple lead gen offers, just tweak the frequency caps so u dont burn the traffic.

They still make a great combo, but you have to refresh creatives constantly. The pop traffic burns out the landing page angles way faster than the push notifications do.

sure, you can always mix any ad formats,
but it's important to not be so noisy for user
you can setup pop + native ads - it will not be so toxic for user

In my experience, pop traffic gives volume but low quality, while push is slightly better for engagement and pre-landing testing.

yeah some people still using push + pop together, but it depends on traffic quality and setup, works for some and for some it not converting like before.

Yes, push + pop still works, but on networks like Propeller Ads results depend heavily on geo and traffic quality. It’s not as easy as it used to be.

I still see people using push and pop together. On PropellerAds, it works best when you filter bad GEOs and optimize campaigns early.

Yes, people still use it. On PropellerAds, it performs best when you filter low-quality traffic early and test multiple creatives.
