Purchasing traffic OK with adsense now?

I had always thought using third party sources like Bing ads, buy sell ads etc., to bring traffic with Adsense enabled webpages was against the rules.

Now, I am unsure if this is new or just updated, but AdSense has a whole new policy on purchasing traffic, and in general it seems to be OK as long as the traffic is legitimate.

I don't remember reading this before, but it is pretty clear, and I read this thoroughly. As long as the traffic is legitimate and they recommend monitoring traffic, I guess PPC away? Bing, mobi, whatever!

Am I missing something? Also, personal experiences if people have been doing this and monitoring traffic feel free to give tips!

No, don't buy traffic for adsense, it was always ok but you will never get good CPC or CTR with non targeted visitors

Purchasing traffic has always been OK within the ToS.
The problem is that most of the traffic that you buy will get your accounts banned as Google does not release the necessary information as to which 3rd party services they deem to be safe and acceptable.
If you buy fake traffic (a lot of the services that sell traffic actually supply bot traffic) or any fake clicks get sent then the account gets banned (usually just before payout).

Advertising a website with AdSense has never ever been against the ToS. Bing ads has never been a problem. The problem when buying "traffic" from shady places is that you are getting bot traffic which Google is pretty good at detecting, so it gets your account banned. If you are sure that your traffic provider will send you real visitors that were not scammed to get to your site, then it should work fine even if your results will be quite bad (because non-targeted traffic doesn't really do well with AdSense). But you cannot be sure about something like that with somebody that is "selling traffic" and it's always much more likely that you'll get bots, which is very likely to get you banned. But ad networks (unless they are something really shady) seem to be OK. Unfortunately, it's very rare that they would provide a positive ROI with AdSense. Get a Bing Ad voucher, do some advertising and see if you would be able to pump the voucher amount into your AdSense. As far as my experience goes, you will only be able to get a fraction of that.

I haven't made any purchase it was a question? Also, did you just completely ignore what all the other posters said? Maybe you should focus on that rather than making new accounts on BHW
