Purchasing on a eBay stealth account?

eBay just gave me a 25$ discount coupon and I plan on using it. However, its a stealth account so I obviously can't get it sent to a random address. Would I be linked with my previous accounts if I ship it to my name and address that I used on previous accounts that were indefinitely banned?

Yes using your name and address that was banned will link the accounts. They might not ban you immediately but eventually they'll link, it's how I learned the previous tenant at my office owed eBay some money. Accounts linked up about 7 months after I moved in to the leased space.

Sent it to a friend's house. eBay do allow you to sent gifts to others - just change the destination address upon checkout.

yes~ ive had people ask for items to be sent to a friend's address as a present, or a different address because they're a student going home for the holidays etc. email the seller and it should be ok. I've asked for stuff to be delivered to me when I've been on holiday~ very handy

i wouldn't change the address in the checkout, as that's where ebay might pick up on it, but emailing the seller via their paypal address will be fine. just make sure you do it immediately, as some sellers pack up stuff quickly, and actually, paypal requires you to ship only to the address listed in the paypal address, not the ebay check out address, so some people will pick up your details from the paypal email.
