Purchasing an expired domain

So I have a question a domain name I was looking to buy has expired from its previous owner or so I think.
This is the message I receive when I visit the website

"This domain has expired and is now suspended. If you would like to restore it please contact the registrar used to register your domain. "

And this is the whois info
Updated Date 2018-12-19T07:52:42Z
Creation Date 2017-12-14T07:52:42Z
Registry Expiry Date 2018-12-14T07:52:42Z

So when will I be able to purchase it ? Thanks.

Something like that, depending on the registrar. And if you're lucky enough and previous owner doesn't re-register

I'd be very surprised if the original owner even reregisters if it's been expired.

And then you have to hope it isn't flagged as a 'premium' domain due to it being registered before (combined with other factors)..
