Purchasing a domain

I am starting with Adsense and Niche/blog sites. I decided that I'll get a shared hosting account at Hostwinds but I am still having some doubts with the domain.

I don't know if I should hide my RL information from who-is requests on my domain, I heard that it costs few bucks.

Just replied in your other thread about this :p But in general I'd say since it only costs a few extra dollars per year, why not? Namecheap even offers Whois protection free for the first year.
 
Thank you guys for helping me, Namecheap's prices and offers look nice, I'll see if I should get it from them or GoDaddy. :)
 
Have a look at NameSilo.com as well - I have started using them as well as NC
 
If you are in it for the long haul, then Namecheap will be cheaper. And the WhoIs guard is like 4$ or 5$ per year after the first year.

You get free whois guard at Namecheap and it is defintely worth it.
 
Namesilo offers lifetime free whois privacy, i recommend them in addition to namecheap.
