Purchasing a 9 year old domain question? Please help!

Ok, so I have a question for people that purchase old domains. I have never purchased an older domain, always bought new.

Anyways, this domain I found is on Godaddy Auctions. It is 9 years old. It does not have any backlinks to it and I can pick it up for $9.00.

So, my question is, when I purchase it, will Google and other search engines see it as a 9 year old domain? Or will it be a new domain when I purchase it?

been purchased 4 yr domain /w no backlink for free and my seoquake see it as 4 yr domain..actually i don't know if the domain is a 4 yr old domain before i saw seoquake lol
