Purchase of WP theme with problems.

I bought a theme on Envato market, and the next day the new news plugin was down, the link in the admin panel that leads to the developer's website was down, and the creator responded that he was updating and would be soon; it's been two weeks, is this usual?

Sorry the query is poor , it is the first time I bought something here and I would not know how to follow ( whether to claim to the site if possible or ask for retribution of the money and I return the theme ) , it is a reliable site but it is strange this happening with the developer .

two weeks is a long time for any bug in wp theme to be fixed. I'd ask for refund.
if you paid via Paypal, you'll surely get it by asking the seller through PP first, then filing a claim if necessary.

That is not necessary, Envato is very flexible when it comes down to refunds. OP, simply fill a refund request on Themeforest and state that you haven't been able to access the developer's website/documentation and therefore you are unable to use the theme.

If it seems too much to me too, I paid by credit card, today I will tell you that if there is no improvement I will ask for a refund.
