Purchase Ebay Watchers?

Hey all,

I was wondering if it's possible to purchase EBay watchers for different offerings? I find it interesting that although I can often find the same product at a lower price, I will see sellers that have a bunch of watchers and sales with a higher price.

I know when I'm looking for something, if I see an item with the flame and a count for the number of people watching it, I am drawn to look at that offering more closely. So, I wonder if I can create that same response in other people for my offerings?

I'm sure you can buy watchers but reaction depends on the person. If I look at an ad and see there's a lot of people watching and the price is decent I wonder "Why didn't anyone of these people buy it yet? There must be something wrong that is causing people to debate the purchase rather than make the purchase."

Watchers = the amount of curious people debating a purchase, it doesn't mean the product or seller is any good. If the product is truly good, priced well, and the seller is good then people don't have to debate the purchase.

Interesting, to me it means that people are considering the purchase, but the cost is higher than they can simply do on the spur of the moment.

Anyone else know if this can be done? Thanks
