Pulling content for news sites

I have been contemplating different methods for creating a news site, and am curious about pulling content for an automated news site. If pulling content from RSS feeds (which is how I would assume it should be done?) should I reference the place where I pulled it?

Is there a way I can find sites that don't mind their rss's being pulled as long as theirs a reference to where the article is from?

Any input would be great.
