PTC and Traffic Exchange expensive

I have never done anything with these traffic sources before due to their reputation but last week started a campaign on one promoting a PTP link looking around though at different traffic exchange sites and PTC sites I noticed that the buying traffic was more expensive than I thought
I was seen rates of about $0.5-$/1000 for clicks.
Considering how low quality the traffic is or what they pay their "workers" that seems high
What do people normally do with his traffic can it be monetized

Yea but the cost I found high
I have found advertising companies that take this traffic but I find the PTC rates higher than I was expecting
 
Traffic exchange & PTC are for free as far as i know even if you were not able to give it time to collect points there are cheap Bot around that do the job for you, worthless or not depends on the website there are some good ones that helped me lower my Alexa rank some have advanced tools to click ( i use this for bounce rate )
 
OK I get the traffic is low quality but if I wanted alot of it at a cheap price $0.3/1000 world wide were can I get it
