Wondering how to use psychographics to ascertain specific information that is not actually conveyed in an individual's profile?

So instead of searching for the psychographic and targeting those people, looking at the individual and figuring out statistically the % likelihood they do X.

(First I was thinking of how metaprograms/metapatterns are already used by taking the way an individual thinks and tayloring communication to that thinking, thus gaining co-operation. So an ad could be taylored even better if the information could be sorted...but as far as I can tell FB doesn't collect that yet..?)

Sounds like some serious Jedi Mind Tricks. I'm sure it's possible, if you know what to look for and how to interpret the data. (IE: Collect data on FB users who like Lil' wayne and trends in new sneakers and use that to determine what kind of rims to market to them.)

Or am I totally missing the point?
