I know it's possible to build websites with wordpress, at least make it look like a website. But what I'm wondering is can you take a website template created in PSD (any template for that matter), and covert it to be used in wordpress?

I have a good psd template but I've decided I want to use wordpress, as its easy to manage and update along with its SEO plugins and all that.

    Can this be done?

If you want higer end job, search "psd to html", or look at psdtohtmlreviews dot com, many services providing psd to html also provide psd to wordpress.

If you have limited budget, throw it to freelance sites or DP, you'll get tons of bid.

The plain truth is you can't learn PS and CSS in one day by one post.

Assuming you have decent html and css knowledge, and have a solid understanding of wordpress functionality, you can slice the template up with photoshop and build any sort of theme/website you want.

    Code:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development
Will be enough to get you started.
