PSD 2 Joomla

I have been using a PSD to XHTML service for the last year now. They charge 45 bucks and while they are sloppy with some of the finer details they do an incredibly good job. I'm in need of converting a custom PSD to joomla and the current service i use is 200 bucks (i dont have a problem with this per se) I've just heard that PSD to joomla conversion are kinda crappy from these services.

Anyone have any experiences or recommendations?
