PS3 or Xbox??

PlayStation Network vs XBOX Live falls into the whole "You Get What You Pay For" category. Example, I bought SF4 for my PS3 because of the superior D-Pad on the controller... within two weeks I traded it in for the 360 version and bought a 3rd party controller with a good D-Pad because I was having so much trouble finding games online with the PS3 version.

With 360, I create a ranked match and it seems like there was already a person there waiting for my room to be created, and every time. Literally almost instantaneous.

I have a PS3, and I enjoy it for the exclusives, but I will never again buy a game on my PS3 that I could buy on my 360 instead.

With the 360, they give you options too... If you don't need wireless, don't buy it, they're not tacking extra onto the price tag for something that probably less than half the people buying the thing needs.
I will admit however that the wireless adapter is a bit overpriced for those that do need it. The hard drive is plenty big on the pro at 60gb, and with the 360, ALL games support 1080p (less than 1/8th of PS3 games do, including the new Killzone 2).

To he who said PlayStation Home would make the PS3 better than live, obviously hasn't played the beta. I've not found one review website that had anything good to say about PlayStation Home. It's more like a watered down Sims online that is free to subscribe to, but you have to pay real money out of your pocket to buy in game items... like new clothing and furniture for your house.

Everyone on Blackhat that is looking for a good way to make money, invent something like PlayStation Home.

XBOX360 has much better 3rd party support, so much so that even the fabled Final Fantasy XIII will be released on the 360 as well as the PS3. There are also exclusives to the 360, including the new Splinter Cell.

Most games made for both console (not all), look and perform better on the 360, because of it's much more standard hardware. The PS3 exclusives like Metal Gear and Killzone 2 definitely look better than anything on 360 (including Gears you fanboys). But most games are on both consoles, so your going to find the majority of games look better on 360.

Again, as I said, I enjoy my PS3, but the choice for me is easily, and I mean very easily, the XBOX 360.

My personal opinion:

If you're an online gamer: Xbox 360
Xbox Live is unmatched. The amount of people playing online with Live us unbelievable. I bought my Xbox 360 SOLELY because of Halo 3. Seriously. Online play is phenomenal with this game. It got me unhooked from Counter-Strike, and now I'm hooked on Halo! (haha!)

Here's a funny YouTube video on Xbox Live (and Hitler being banned from it):

The problem with the 360, as said before, is the quality of the hardware. The headsets are junk. I've been through 3 now. While my 360 hasn't gone belly up, ALL of my friend's Xboxes have. That's 5 Xboxes with the Red Ring of Death that I know of. Awful. And my one buddy's Xbox didn't "RROD", it only had 1 red light, which MICROSOFT DOESN'T COVER! His Xbox was just over a year old when it happened (last month) so it's not a 1st Gen Xbox 360.

I only know of 1 friends' PS3 dying.

If you don't like Halo and love Metal Gear Solid, PS3 is a natural choice. Online gaming is free, unlike Xbox 360's, but in my honest opinion, Live has a better online experience in terms of amount of players, lag, etc.

Graphics are about the same, with a slight edge to PS3.

The Xbox 360 library is bigger than the PS3's, but not much bigger. Both consoles sport about the same amount of exclusives, but all the core games you need to play (like Grand Theft Auto 4) are on both consoles.

So, either consoles are a good choice... I just prefer the Xbox 360.

thanks, how about playing 2 people ? I think consoles like ps3 or xbox or psp, there would games like which I have to play 24 hours and can't leave it easily.I don't want to get addicted to games like that.
