HI Guys two questions

1) PS 3 or Xbox 360

i want to buy PS 3 cuz of the game God of War!!!!

Also can these be linked to ur laptop ??


2) Can we download games from internet like PC games or do we need to buy them ??
are there torrents available ?

or any dedicated site to download these games ?

1) Don't buy a Piece of Shit 3 AKA PS3, get an Xbox360. Much better gaming community and the overall experience is better. Also I prefer playing any type of shooter/action games on an Xbox.
You can hook it up to your computer monitor via HDMI.

2) You can download games from websites like thepiratebay.org BUT your gaming console has to be modified to do that, and people charge money for services like that.
 
Well I am a proud PS3 owner. The PS3 can be jailbroken to play full games from an external HD .... But the thing is that if you buy a new ps3, you wouldnt be able to jailbreak it if it's firmware is higher than 3.55 .... Also if you jailbreak it, you wont be able to play online and play some new games ... thats it ... i am very active in the jailbreak thing, and if you have any questions PM me ... I know everything ....


For Xbox I know nothing mate ;)
 
1: PS3 if God of War is the game you want to play. I play Halo, so Xbox for me. I don't know about linking to your laptop except for maybe backing up stuff?

2: There are usually demos you can download, but you'll have to have the disc if you want the full game.
 
PS3 has more online stuff - browse the net, LoveFilm, etc and the online service is free.

xBox has no web browsing and if you want to play multiplayer online you have to pay for an xBox Live subscription. Which is annoying.

The PS3 also comes with a BluRay player.

Before anyone claims bias: I own an xBox360 but I would still recommend the PS3. However, my friend has a PS3 and recommends an xBox360. So I guess it boils down to what you want.
 
I like Xbox360 just don't but an older model or you will run the risk of red ring of death. Really I think it boils down to which controller you prefer, both have pretty much the same games a couple exclusives for each. PS3 has free online gameplay but Xbox360 has a better live community and better online gameplay because they use a portion of the monthly subscriptions for servers and stuff like that to make the experience better. PS3 has a better dashboard that is what I really like about their system, it is great for storing movies and music. Not sure which are easier to mod but the Xbox mod came out first so I would assume its the easiest.

Don't forget about the Wii, get a white one and mod it (fairly easy) and you can get tons of free games for it. Checkout some youtube videos to learn more about it.
 
i am not tht much active on gaming communities and i usually do not play online games... as the place where i am does not offer such high bandwidths...

So if i buy a PS3 i will need to buy a $50 game everytime??

like PC games these can not be burnt on DVD and played ?

I work for a company that repairs games consoles, PS3 solid and reliable, has problems with overheating and ventilation, but repairable fairly easily.
XBOX, we have workbenches full of the things, major problems all round. The tech guys who repair these things reckon, PS3 lifespan 10 years, XBOX 3 years max. your choice I guess.
 
PS3 for me - yes xbox has more games but PS3 has style and yes for God of war 3 is Soooooo epic man the graphics are nuts!!!!!!
 
I loved my ps1, but feel out of love with sony. Xbox 360 is my weapon of choice.

I will agree the life span is a bit rubbish and i would be nice too see them fitted with a bluray player!
 
I have an xbox360 for 2 years and it is a really nice machine
 
To all of you PS3 lovers, did you guys enjoy having one month of no online play? You get what you pay for my friends!

P.S I own both consoles, I still think the PS3 is a total POS.
 
god of war 3 is the best game i ever played. I beat the game in one sitting. Metal Gear 4 was the second best. Both are on Ps3. I bought one ps3 and 5 xboxes modded and unmodded the ps3 can be modded too now. Go with the ps3 its way better as far as games go.

flashed 360 for everything else (even better if u can get it jtagged)
