yes this was already patched.

Check out:
psgroove
psfreedom

These might still work. Not 100% sure dont have a ps3

Sony did patch these, only firmware 3.41 is supported. You cannot upgrade 3.42. So the trade off is run this JB and play backed up games, but no online play.
