I run quite a few wordpress blogs, all running statpress for the stats.

However some are getting quite large and slow. I was wondering has anybody ever come up with a way of pruning old posts that haven't been viewing for xx days. In theory the data should be in statpress, and it should even tell you whether it was a spider or a real human that viewed the page.

Even just coming up with an SQL query to find unviewed pages would help me.

Why would you want to do this? The only reason I can think of, is because it is a strain on the server.

Bang on, apparently depending on your exact setup Wordpress starts to load servers unduly when you get above 15-30k posts.
