Doesn't matter I dont think. Any referrer regardless of landing page will be left in the logs and therefore reflected in the stats pages. I would think lots of people use domains only as it makes it easier to only have a domain listed once rather than many pages from the same domain getting ref spammed.
So really its upto you, if you want it to seem a lil more organic use deep pages but if you don't want to over do it or spam the shit out of sites then use the domain as its easier to pick out multiple entries of the same domain.

the main point of using PRStorm is to find domains that actually have public stats pages so they get indexed with your link in the referrers lists. Just spamming domains with no public stats page is pointless unless you are hoping the webmaster clicks your link and wants to trade links or something.. otherwise they will ban your ass..lol
