ProxyFirewall NOT proxifying??

So, I have some proxies I wanted to get going with PF so I entered those on the proggy and then created a rule for IE and FF.... now here is the deal, if I use ProxyFirewall and set the rule for each of those browsers to go through the proxy specified the IP that is being made available is my actual IP address NOT the proxy specified on PF.

On the other hand if I set the proxy directly in foxyproxy or Internet Explorer connection options the Proxies WORK! and the IP that gets detected is the proxy IP not my own!...

Any1 having this problem?

I've also tested a proxy from ProxyBonnanza (https and socks) and to my amazement the same thing happens on PF, it seems that PF is not using the proxy speficied and uses my regular ISP IP instead ....

Any recommendations as far as using other program to change proxies fast?

Yea, I had that problem weeks ago and got frustrated. I just used the IE browser now

After all those dll injection tools are never 100% save, it only works if the program you force behind a proxy is using specific api calls/functions.

The free tool "freecap" often has better results than proxyfirewall and it supports different injection methods.
Usually one of both tools work for almost all applications.

I am on XP... used to have vista but it nearly drive me insane.... even after tweaking the hell out of it... but yeah I've heard people have problems with PF and vista....didn't know the same applied to xp

Yeah... sucks...I am using a firefox plugin now which is fairly fast when switching proxies, the problem is that the macro proggy I use don't support Direct screen technology on Firefox... so I can only use XY coordinates which is somewhat buggy.... but hey .. its better than nothing...
