I've searched high and low for the 'newbies ask here' thread I seen somewhere on one of the forums before but can't find it anywhere.Basically, I'm getting my head around most things except figuring out the right way to go about using private proxies.I'll just paint a picture and would appreciate if anyone could tell me if I am thinking along the right lines or not.Example: Money site, 10 tier 1 sites (wordpress, blogger etc)Am I right in thinking that 2 proxies would do for this? 1 proxy for my money site and 1 proxy for my tier 1 sites (given that they are all on different web 2.0 platforms. And if I were to use say 2 bloggers sites in this tier 1, I would need a separate proxy for each?Then further on from that, if I am using say something like Magic Submitter to build Tier 2 links to these 10 Tier 2, how would proxies come into play there and how many would I need.At the moment I have HMA VPN, as far as I've gathered I should absolutely not be building any sites through this, right?How should I be utilizing HMA in all this or should I just keep it for research purposes? It's not totally clear why do you want to use proxies on money and Tier 1 sites.
Basically your backlinks has to come from websites of different C-class IPs, so if you use Wordpress, Blogger etc. for Tier 1 it's not an issue.
Using reverse proxies is useful when you use your own blog networks ( on 1 IP per each network ) for backlinking yourself.

Sorry I wasn't being very clear. Yeah I think the whole thing that has been confusing me is I was thinking that google can see if 2 websites are created with the same IP address. They can't right? And for web 2.0's like wordpress, the only thing that is important is that I use a different email for each account. And in my above example of 10 tier 1 sites, i can use 1 email for all ten, granted they are all on different platforms, but it's ok if each account is created on the same IP. Is that right?
Sorry about the confusion, like I said it's the main thing I'm having a problem getting my head around, learning to leave no footprint, and the IP's in the equation are muddying the waters for me at the moment. Thanks for your reply

Thanks lads. Yeah I was using chrome from the start. It is ok now, maybe it was something to do with it being my first three posts or something.
So basically avoid to link your 2 sites from the same IP and preferably from the same C-block of IP.
Also avoid to link to your money site ( and possibly to tier 1 sites ) from the same IP and preferably from the same C-block.
Exception is if they are wellknown web 2.0 blogs ( eg. your money site is on Wordpress and you have 9 Tier 1 sites linking to moneysite, 3-3 from Wordpress, Tumblr, Blogger ).
You are right, you should use different emails, especially if you use Gmail accounts on Blogger

So leaving web 2.0's out of it for now, if I were to say incorporate 2 domain sites into my tier 1, the best way to go about that would to have my money site on say Hostgator and the other two sites linking to it on somewhere like Bluehost and Hostmonster. To make sure they are on separate c-blocks? And only visit each site through different IP's?

Yes, hosting those 3 sites at 3 different hosting provider is a correct solution.
Do you mean you want to admin those sites via different IPs hiding your home IP?
I think it's not necessary.
