Proxy under ubuntu

Hi bros,
i am a newbie in the wolrd of informatique so be tolerant with me pls ^^
I explain you my problems, i'm under ubuntu 16.04 and i use second computer under windows 10.
I purchase an account on vip72 and i downloaded proxifier and Vip72 socks client on the window computer.
And what I want to do is to use the ip address that i found on vip72 on my computer with ubuntu, but when i open firefox and try to configure manually SOCKS5 I got an error message.
Could you please help me to configure a socks5 on my unbuntu computer pls.
PS : i don't find the oprt number on vip72, i'm really lost

What do you mean that you can't find the port number? It must be there somewhere. What kind of proxies have you bought? They should be in the format of ip address : port. Are they rotating proxies by any chance?

i'm using vip72; when i select the country, the region and the city of the ip adresse that want, i don't find the port number

Well, i don't have an account there, so i can't check, but a port number is a must for a proxy, even if those are public proxies, which is very likely judging by the amount they offer. Haven't you bought their VPN service by mistake? That would explain the lack of port number.
