Proxy type for X?

Quick question for anyone managing multiple X accounts at scale.
Instead of registering them manually, I'm planning to buy pre-made accounts from a seller and test them in batches. I’ll be using Hidemyacc to manage them and isolate each one with its own browser profile. My question is mostly about the network setup side.
  1. What kind of proxies are people using for this now: mobile, ISP, or data center?
  2. Do I need to go full mobile proxy for basic warm-up or are residential IPs still working fine?
  3. And when logging in, is it better to import cookies or just go with username and password?

Residential or ISP proxies work fine for warm-up. Mobile’s only needed if you’re doing something heavy. Just don’t mix accounts on the same IP or switch IPs mid-session.
 
I’ve always logged in with user/pass and never had issues, as long as the seller is solid. If the accounts are bad, using cookies won’t save them anyway.

Are you using static or rotating residential proxies?
 
Residental is good, 4g is good also. but dont use datacenter

Importing cookies is generally safer for logging in, though using just the username and password can be fine for initial testing.
 
Residential already good, but when scaling and keeping accounts long-term, it is mobile proxies. Platforms trust mobile IPs way more cuz they look like real users.

Also, yeah import cookies, so each account appears as a returning user, not some new device suddenly logging in.

2. For basic warm-up (gradual activity like following, liking, or posting to build trust), residential IPs are often sufficient and more cost-effective. Mobile proxies are ideal if you’re dealing with high-risk accounts (e.g., pre-made ones with unknown history) or plan to scale aggressively.
Suggestion: Start with residential IPs for warm-up if budget is a concern, and switch to mobile proxies if you notice flagging or for long-term management.

3. Use cookies if available and reliable; otherwise, proceed with username/password cautiously and be prepared for verification requests.
 
Im using datacenter for a month or so, Im curious how much worse they are compare to residential

I second this, actually. Now for the login, if the seller provides the cookies then importing those first helps make sessions look more natural. Otherwise, the username and password is just fine. Warm it up slowly though, either way.
