Yes, this popular Proxy Tool FF Addon is free. It even has the 5 free HTTP proxies to test out. This tool will work well with HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxies from any providers. Of course, you will need to make sure that these proxies are working.
Notes:
- SOCKS4/SOCKS5 - requires either no authentication or IP authentication. Username/password authentication will not work.
- Trying out proxies from "free sources" are not always reliable (and waste of time). It's best to get proxies from paid proxy providers.
- Total user agents have been increased to around 48M+, including latest randomized mobile browsers/desktop browsers. (Try it - you'll like it)
We have few new features (per customer's requests) to be added to 1.18 version in 3-6 months, as it requires several months of development time during our spare time.
Until then, have fun proxying!

Hi,
FF 3.16 version is pretty old.
Please try to update your FF browser to latest version. FF 3.16 version is like Windows 3.1.
If your computer has Windows 7 64 bits, I would recommend you to upgrade your FF to WaterFox (same as FF, but much faster due to 64 bits).

Question for OP (or anyone who knows) - I've downloaded the tool and its working great but I'm wondering if when I set the new IP address (proxy addr) in firefox with the tool will outlook also use that IP for sending the emails? If not does anyone know how to ensure that the IP is effectively changed inside outlook as well?
oh by the way one more question; sometimes as I'm working (surfing) in firefox I notice at the bottom of the browser window that the "H" symbol has inadvertently turned to red thereby inactivating my proxy i'm assuming. why does this keep happening? is it something that I'm doing wrong?

Yes, it is possible...if you are referring to webmail (such as yahoo/gmail/etc).
Maybe you could have accidentally pressed the shortcut keys, causing (H) to go to red (from green).
Just in case, here's the shortcut keys list:

We tried to find a way to bypass it, which didn't work too well due to Firefox security settings on stored passwords. It means you will need to save the username/password for the private proxy (HTTP/HTTPS). As for SOCKS5, IP authentication is required to make it work.
Sorry for not reading that part closely. Outlook depends on IE proxy settings, not Firefox. Experiment - you'll understand (test the IP by using http://analyzemy.net site).

hey portalweb, i tried ur addon today and think it has some great features, one problem i noticed when using with FF, the proxy list will not update in the 'right click menu' unless you open a new page (new tab will not work, same tab will not work).
also, a feature request, previously i have been using foxyproxy addon, which has the option to set certain sites to always use a specific proxy (with regex options), this is very helpful and i cant seem to find a similar option in ur addon?
the other request is to allow custom names for proxies to make it easier/quicker to reference them in the menu.

You can switch the proxy anytime using Shift + S to rotate the proxy. Some users prefer same proxy on multi-pages.
Please email proxylistco_gmail.com with your request (screenshots?) - we will look into it and may add to it.
You can do that. Some users customize the proxy list..by editing the list to labeling them to match their private IPs to specific site/account.
Example:
1.2.3.4:1234,USA,g00gle-account1
1.2.3.5:1234,USA,g00gle-account2
or
1.2.3.4:1234,USA,CL-NYAcct1
1.2.3.5:1234,USA,CL-NYAcct2
1.2.3.6:1234,USA,CL-LAAcct3
1.2.3.7:1234,USA,CL-LAAcct4
etc. (useful for Cra1gl1st)
Then, use Shift + S to switch proxies - easy to track of which accounts used for each IP.

Can you implement one more "button with the arrow" next to existing "red-green H" one, so it moves to next IP in the list? Reason is, that way it easier to change IP just by clicking on the button, so keys on the keyboard can be used to map to other apps.
