Good residential might be hard to find or ensure their quality. On the other hand - mobile proxy is THE SAME product across all sellers. You may be having a problem only if you're working with exotic country, but generally speaking - try to find mobile proxies that are priced by day (not gb), they are usually working on separate device and provide very stable connection.

For Facebook and Reddit you'll need residential proxies since both platforms aggressively blacklist datacenter IPs - mobile proxies are ideal if your budget allows because they're virtually undetectable and have the lowest ban rates. Stick with sticky sessions and avoid free or shared proxies since those platforms have sophisticated fraud detection that flags reused IP ranges almost immediately.

for FB and Reddit specifically, mobile proxies are the safest bet if budget allows. both platforms are aggressive with datacenter detection and even residential IPs can get flagged if the provider's pool is oversaturated. the reason mobile works so well is that carriers use CGNAT, meaning thousands of real users share the same IP range.
platforms can't just ban those IPs without blocking real customers. FB knows this which is why mobile gets the most trust. for Reddit it's a bit more relaxed honestly. residential with sticky sessions works fine for most use cases unless you're running a large number of accounts. Reddit cares more about behavior patterns and account age than IP quality.
one thing nobody mentioned here yet: whatever proxy you pick, make sure the geo matches the account. logging into a "US based" FB account from a UK residential IP is an easy way to get hit with verification.

Check the ASN before you commit to a long-term plan. A lot of the cheap resi providers on the marketplace are just reselling flagged ranges that FB blocks on sight. For Reddit you can get away with almost anything, but for FB, mobile is the only way to avoid constant checkpoints. Make sure your provider offers a rotation link so you can clear the IP if things get slow.

For FB and Reddit I'd look at residential or ISP proxies with stable sessions rather than cheap rotating datacenter IPs. The quality of the IP pool matters more than the provider name. You can check Mango Proxy as one of the options and test a small package first.
