Proxy Suggestions

If your main priority is privacy, anonymity, and avoiding captchas/blocks — a residential or mobile proxy works best. These mimic normal home or mobile users, making them less likely to trigger blocks than datacenter VPNs. Reliable providers with clean IP pools reduce captcha frequency significantly.

If it’s just for general browsing and privacy, then you can use datacenter proxies. They’re faster and more affordable than residential. Also try to stick to one IP per session to avoid triggering captchas.
Are data center proxies better for anonymity than resident ones? I always thought that datacenter proxies were less flexible and could be more easily detected by services like Google and others. Residential ones are probably better for better anonymity, but they are usually much more expensive.

I'd say the worst option is datacenter proxies, then residential proxies, and the best for anonymity, privacy, avoiding captchas and bans are definitely mobile proxies.

What kind of proxy works best if i'm simply looking to avoid the million captchas and IP site blocks i get everyday from using a VPN. My main priority is privacy and anonymity.
residential and mobile proxies work great to avoid captchas everywhere. You can check in the marketplace here

Mobile proxies are definitely the king for avoiding captchas, but the cost adds up fast. For general browsing, high-quality residential rotating proxies are usually a decent middle ground.

For avoiding captchas, residentials work depending on the captcha you want to bypass, mobile proxies definitely work.

If your goal is fewer captchas and blocks, the proxy type matters less than how “clean” and consistent it looks.

In general, residential or mobile proxies tend to get flagged less than VPNs, but only if the IP has good reputation and you don’t keep rotating or behaving like a bot. For privacy and anonymity, a stable setup with a clean IP and consistent usage usually works better than constantly switching IPs.

What are you mainly doing with it, just browsing or something more automated?
