Well, they still game the system with bot comments in many niches. So YT can't deal with bots, and proxies.
Further on the subject, bots nowadays works perfectly for boosting high content quality niches to move channels off the ground.
That should be the main interest, not botting viewers. Affiliate is also a waste.
YT pays a lot if you are actually creating content that serves.
To be fully specific, you can't get paid more money anywhere vs YouTube today.

YouTube's system is way too smart now to be tricked by proxies. It's not just about the IP or device anymore. Their AI watches how accounts actually behave, like if they found the video naturally, watch more than just that one clip, or actually bother to like or comment. Bots can't fake a real person's random browsing habits. Any views you manage to fake will just get deleted.
