1. When choosing a proxy what tests should we run to make sure it is high quality? What exactly should we look for in those tests?
2. If I have a proxy, how to know if it is residential or isp?
3.. How to know if a proxy is unique and not used by thousands others?

Check for proxy that does not show as DCH

https://www.ipqualityscore.com/

And has 0 fraud score
We need a list of important tests sites and guide pinned in this forum. Too many websites out there and no proper guide. thanks.
Where should I look exactly to know it is not DCH?

I compare usage type in two sites: Not exactly sure what this means!
Browserleak: Usage Type Cable/DSL / Residential
ip2location:
Usage Type(ISP) Fixed Line ISP

Browserleaks can probably give you all the info you'll need

I tried that too but like above post there's a difference between browserleak and another site.
I also want to know wether I am the only person using this ip or it's shared. Couldn't find a way for it.

To check your proxy’s quality, use tools like whoer.net, ipleak.net, or whatismyipaddress.com for speed, latency, and to verify if it's residential or ISP-based. To ensure you're the only user, buy dedicated mobile proxies.

I used whatismyipaddress.com but I don't know where it shows it's residential or isp?

Here's the checlist I usually follow when buying proxies
  1. Correct location: If you're buying a us proxy, make sure the location is in the US, not in the UK, France, Germany, or any other country.
  2. Timezone matches: For example, the US typically uses GMT-5, but if you buy a US proxy and it shows GMT+7, that’s clearly suspicious.
  3. Check the registered owner of the IP on Whatismyip: if you have a US proxy, but the IP owner is registered in Vietnam or Laos, it’s less trustworthy.
  4. Check if the proxy has been blacklisted by major websites like Google or Cloudflare.
  5. Proxy speed: Speeds of 30-50 Mbps are good enough, and if you want faster, datacenter proxies are a better option.
  6. Check if the proxy is leaking WebRTC or DNS
Some sites you can check proxy: IP Fighter, Pixelscan, IPHey, Browserleaks, Whatismyip, IP-score,...

How to know if the ip is blacklisted by google and cloudflare? I only check fraud score in websites.
Is it important that fraud score be 0? because I found it rare.
Very useful tips BTW.
I also heard that number hops in TCP/IP Fingerprint is also important. (browserleak)

Read some proxy review sites, such as,
https://www.bestproxyreview.com
https://www.stupidproxy.com/
Thread Testings and so on, choose what need to know to find.

3.. How to know if a proxy is unique and not used by thousands others?
It's hard to spot, it's really all one IP POOL, judged by the success rates of your project!

useful advice. thanks

I’ve started providing a dedicated mobile proxy service. Got my first customer and super happy about it. My proxies are genuine 4g mobile phone proxies with a simcard in them - but for some reason they show up as residential on ipqualityscore but on max mind they show as cellular. Also the fraud score is between 40-70 which is weird because they are as genuine as genuine can be. Maybe it’s because the IP pool is small in NZ? I dunno. I wonder if any other experienced proxy buyers that have had a similar experience and how you overcame it

add more under the last post :
1. Proxy Download Speed: Better it is fast than 50M/S.
2. Request Success Rate; More than 95%.
3. IP Pool Number: Depends on your business.
4. Check if the proxy is leaking WebRTC or DNS.

Any more question can PM me if in need.

Different websites have different checking results, the same IP may get different scores on different websites, it is recommended to make comprehensive judgments.

I read somewhere that those ip score sites consider the past reputation of the local network and make an estimated guess if they don't have data for that particular IP.
