Hello guys, I received this message from my proxy provider today:

"We don't allow orders to be placed while under a VPN, if you want to place any other orders with us please use your Home IP to register and place the order."

I have been using the proxy for over a month and now they send me this message. I don't want to reveal my home ip to anyone, not even the proxy provider.
Does anyone here know of any proxy providers (Social Media or Dedicated IP) that don't have this kind of bullshit?

Thanks.

It seems like this is a standard for some payment methods when ordering online, but there are probably some providers in the marketplace who allow it.

Just make sure to use a proxy while ordering VPNs as well (if you don't want to reveal your home IP to anyone) :)

Yeah, I don't know exactly why they want to know my home ip, I looked for this provider precisely because they accept payment by bitcoin and so I wouldn't need to reveal any personal data, it may be an exaggeration, but I like to keep my identity on the web as secure as possible.

Why don't you contact them to tell them about your preferences and that you paid with BTC, I am sure they will understand your position because your arguments are valid.

That kinda goes against the whole anonymity ideals (that proxy providers should stand in line with too IMHO). Plenty of providers offer payment possibilities in BTC or other cryptocurrencies, so you can try emailing yours about this as well.

There are proxy providers who does not impose such ruling. That’s for sure. Try to DM some proxy providers directly.
