Is there any significance of the proxy port number - if I use proxies with very common ports like 80, 8080, 3127 and 3128, will this raise a red flag / can these type of open / common ports reveal ips to be proxies?

also, does anyone know of a tool or know of a way to fake screen resolution and fake plugins so they are not always the same. If I am visiting one site using different proxies the owner of the site would be able to see that for each proxy used the screen res would be the same each time and the same plugins would be listed the same each time.

    Thanks

Not unless the site is using technology similar to NiX API.

For your 2nd question you would be better off asking it on stackoverflow. It's your browser's JS engine that returns your screen resolution, unless you can't interfere it someshow you cannot fake it.
