Hello people, I have a question and I'll try to explain, sorry all for my bad english

First, I use a VPN connection and I use a proxy (with proxifier software)

My question is: -> I wanna know if the proxy connection will pass over VPN?

We can say the proxy connection is over, on top the VPN connection? The proxy software, for example, Proxifier, or configured directly in the browser, It will use the VPN connection to connect in the proxy servers? or the proxy will connect directly in the proxy server with my normal connection (to my internet provider, without the VPN connection) ???

In addition to the protection and anonymity of the VPN, using the proxy over the VPN connection, I will be more anonymous?

I hope you understood my question

    opinions are welcome

    Thanks

You will see the proxy address as your IP address.

It is like a double layer of security

    Proxy>>VPN

    Use both for better anonymity

From the tech side it will look like:
Your computer -> Your internet provider -> VPN service -> Proxy -> Web Site

Proxy makes anonymous only HTTP and HTTPS protocols.

VPN makes anonymous all protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, IMAP and etc...)

To ensure that you've hidden your ip address try to Google "proxy-checker-anonymity-test" and select some proxy checker services.

And see what IP address you'll have in these situations:
    1. Without VPN and proxy turned ON
    2. With VPN turned on
    3. With proxy turned on
    4. With proxy and VPN turned on

Yes, you'll be more anonymous in the sense that there'd be 2 layers between you and websites you visit (the VPN server + the proxy server). But be aware that the extra layer will make your connection slower too. Personally, I would just use a single VPN or proxy provider that I trust to keep my connection anonymous to avoid making my connection unnecessarily slow.

i personally use either vpn or proxy depending on the specific task i need to complete. No need to use both, it just looses more time and internet speed is lot slower..

This for sure. Really depends on what you're doing but most of the time you won't need that type of crazy protection at the cost of the lower speeds
