hi everyone,
i have xrumer running on dedicated server of VD. The default proxies r slow. Should i go for Private Proxies or VPN?
Which one of the two will improve the speed and success rate?

I'd say success rate and speed do not have anything to do with VPN or a proxy.

When using private proxies keep in mind that xrumer uses a lot of threads, many proxies will not support that.
Same counts for VPNs but they are often not as limited.
In both cases expect to get your ass kicked pretty early if you really use it.

Cheesecakes suggestion is probably the best if you are not sitting on a 100mbps line yourself. You can easily eat up a few terrabytes of traffic per month, you need a fast uplink for that.

Try get a good VPS for 30-40$, expect to get your ass kicked too but it can last for a while if you are lucky.
A dedicated server will give best performance, maybe one in russia or eastern countries ?

why vps?

what has vps to do with a vpn?

You said that default proxies are slow.. if you get a VPS, you will have a 10Mbps or 100Mbps port.. much much higher than anything you could have at home.

i already have xrumer on a dedi at volume drive which uses public proxies and is running slow coz they r public proxies, thats the reason i am looking for a vpn or private proxy.

I'd put it up on a medium sized VPS and use it without any proxy of vpn

You will sooner or later get your ass kicked for bandiwdth, cpu abuse. Then you switch to the next provider.
Or you go offshore and pay more for the provider but it holds longer.

You can also go for a VPN or private proxy, both will do the job.
Just try to find a large proxy/vpn provider but both will most likely not tollerate you long.

Because VPNs are cheaper.
If you pay money for a dedicated server and they kick you within a week you lose more.
VPNs are more replaceable and usually have a shorter waiting time after ordering.

VPS is cheaper and you don't need a dedicated server just for xrumer.

Do as Justone said. Use it without proxies. If they cancel your account, just get a new one.

what i am saying is y not use good proxy or vpn which will prevent getting shut down and at the same time xrumer will run faster with them?

It won't run faster, it will just keep you safe from getting your account cancelled (dedi).

If you have the money, that would be the best combo = dedi (or vps) + VPNs.
