Proxy lesons?

Can someone point me to a numbnutz guide to proxys and ips etc?

I know every pc has an ip.

I know a proxy is a substitute ip to hide behind

I know websites have ips. Some have unique ips. If I get hosting with a unique ip can I use it as a proxy?

I see lists of public proxies. I am guessing the more well known the list is the more useless it is?

I see programs like scrapebox that need proxies to operate. Do they come with them or you gotta get your own?

scrape box can harvest free proxies that are available online. however they do not last long since spammers use them also. paid proxies are more reliable for hiding your ip.
