What does this indicate exactly?

Shouldn't the ISP = network provider?

I'm testing a provider and their ISPs for mobile proxies are either "Google" or "Google Services" I suspect that these are coming from a data center.

For example:

IP shows that the connection belongs to British Telecom (Extensive DNS check shows Google)

IP shows that the connection belongs to Virgin Media (Extensive DNS check shows Google)

Another provider:

When the connection belongs to British Telecom then the ISP is also British Telecom

When their connection belongs to Tele2 then the ISP is also Tele2

.............

Contacted their live chat and they are fiercely defending that they don't sell DC proxies but they also cannot give me clear answers as to why their ISP points back to Google.

Any ideas?

I'm having similar "issue". Also have a few ISP proxies and at first they show Charter Communications Inc (Spectrum) as ISP but if you dig a little bit deeper, they point to a Hosting company called "aventice". DNS also shows Google Services, like you said.

I have come to conclusion that ISP proxies are just glorified Datacenter proxies.

While it is definitely possible for the information to not be 100% accurate - for instance mobile proxies located in the New-York could give you a slight variation in the location (states or cities located near to New-York). However, the way you have put it, I strongly feel that the proxies are not real mobile proxies. Always remember to ask for a short trial even if it is paid while testing a provider. There are many in the marketplace; you can also post in the "Want to Buy" section and someone would ping you up for sure.
