Proxy Goblin Question

most scraping proxie tools use an internal proxy judge
some tools allow you to change this some dont, and testing public
scraped proxies in scrapebox is at an all time low around 1-200
google passed.. public proxies are really down in numbers at the
moment...very low... most public proxie tools will return a slightly
different result, but not by much

Among the thousands of proxies, there are only about 100 elite proxies. Most proxies are already dead when you found them.

agreed terry this is due to everyone else scraping proxies and testing
them at the same time which is why the death rate is so high
 
Is there some good setup for the proxy goblin? What geo target should we use?

isnt gonna matter that much where u target there are currently
around 3/4k public live proxies available no matter how many
proxies you scrape.
 
This software sucks. It doenst even accept my license anymore and i am a legit owner.
 
I get between 100-150 elite proxies every couple of hours with Proxy Goblin. It works great since HighRiskJohn told me how to change the settings.

Sure, here you go. These are my settings:

Web connections tab
Scraper
Read timeout 20
Connect timeout 25
Max simultaneous connections 5
Bypass url is NOT checked off
Judge
Read timeout 10
Connect timeout 10
Max simultaneous connections 3
Enable auto kill IS checked off
Kill remaining batches once this target is reached 500
Protocol type http
Google verification is NOT checked off
Use speedboost is NOT checked off

I left the defaults on all the other tabs
 
I run PG on a vps, so my settings are a little more aggressive. I scrape for anonymous or better. Here is a screen shot of my setup. I usually get about 3500 anonymous or better proxies. I also check them through GSA every couple of hours to clear out the dead ones. I also have it run every 180 minutes, so I get an updated list about 3.5 hours. I could probably get more proxies if I also scraped, but it was eating a lot of resources and it takes a long time for test 60,000+ proxies and I find the built in source works fine for what I need.

I want a vps. That's next on my list.
 
Bermanhosting. I use the vps extra package and added another 1 gig to the memory.

(Just in case, it's just the vps and doesn't come with any tools, you'll need to add your own software.)
 
Never used it, but I know a friend who does it. If you need any information let me know.
 
isnt there a plug-in that goes to s/box

Yeah there is I can switch it on and it says if SB is already loaded it won't load it. I wish I could find some documentation on it...
