Hello, I am somewhat new to these forums as well as to using proxies in general. For the past couple days I have done nothing but read about them and how to use them and the pro's and con's, but apparently not enough reading about them. So I had a few questions about them and how to use them. One being: I am aware of the mozilla ability to be able to run through a proxy and I read apekillape's post on how to configure a proxy with mozilla (which was very helpful). However, I was experimenting with random free proxies and got some to work and others had errors and some were far too slow. Even when I got a proxy to work it would not work with all sites. For example, I had a proxy that would work with every site but it would not work with youtube and I later read that I need a SSL proxy, is that true? Also mozilla has the specified fields for the 4 different proxies, so do I need 4 different proxies or is there one really good one that can be used for all four fields? Two: I also saw that utorrent can be configured with a proxy as well. Is there a special kind of proxy that can handle torrents better then others? Three: Where does one get working and trustable proxies? I really am not looing forward to paying for one but if I have to then I will if it's not much. Would paying for one come with all the proxies needed above? Or hopefully are there good proxies for all of the proxy needs above for free? Additional Notes: I would need all of these proxies to be anonymous to the point of never being able to identify my IP of course. Also it would be nice to have at least one good out of USA proxy to be able to access sites that aren't available in the USA. Any and all help or suggestions are very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
