Our company deals with investment traffic, and we came up with the idea to use an AI system to automatically dial all our old clients and try to get them to start working with us again. Which proxy would you recommend?

Better stick to compliant outreach, but residential proxies are usually the safest option.

standard web proxies like residential or mobile are completely useless for ai voice bots because voip uses sip and udp which just lags and drops packets over normal proxy tunnels. telecom carriers don't even block your server ip anyway, they flag the actual caller id number for spam based on stir/shaken attestation. you don't need web proxies, you need a pool of clean sip trunks from telnyx or twilio and a system to rotate the actual local phone numbers.

You can't go wrong with a Mobile proxy anytime. You can get one in the marketplace, there are some serious sellers with free trial.

For your usecase, ISP static proxy or even better mobile proxies with sticky sessions is ideal but the challenge is many proxies don't support UDP tunneling so you'll have to ensure before purchasing if they support UDP over socks5. Many of them offer free trials so test it with your setup before buying.

It can be worth testing mobile proxies. They tend to blend in better with carrier networks and can be more resilient for long-running campaigns.

For dialing systems proxies usually aren’t the main factor. SIP traffic doesn’t work well over most web proxies anyway. Usually better to run clean SIP trunks and rotate numbers/caller IDs. Proxies are more relevant for web automation than for voice bots.

mobile proxies are the best. they use real carrier IPs that thousands of normal users share. the trust scores are way higher than anything else. most VOIP platforms check IP reputation quite aggressively. datacenter IPs get burned fast when you push volume. even residential ones can get flagged.

if your clients are mostly in specific countries, make sure whatever provider you go actually have coverage there. you will want a sticky session for the whole duration of each call. you dont want to be rotating mid-session that will trigger auth failures.

depending on where u operate, calling old clients might get you into trouble. there is the GDPR, TCPA and all sorts of privacy laws.

but proxy-wise, mobile and sticky sessions is what you want

You can use an ISP proxy/rotating residential proxy, and avoid using a datacenter. Before buying in bulk, you should test a few proxies on whoer, ipfighter, pixelscans, etc., to see their quality and speed to ensure they can handle continuous real-time calls.

For outbound calling, stability matters more than aggressive rotation. I'd look at static residential or ISP proxies if you need consistent locations and long sessions. The exact choice depends on the calling platform and how often you're switching accounts or regions.
