proxy dns leak (android)

Hello! I am using static ISP proxy(Socks5) from Austria on my Xiaomi phone via tun2socks. When I check my IP on Whoer, ipleak, it correctly shows Austria, but the DNS is detected as my real location. How can I change the DNS to Austria to match my proxy IP?

Seems like your phone’s still using your real provider’s DNS instead of the proxy. To fix it, just switch to an Austrian DNS. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Private DNS and put in a public one like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. Should fix the DNS leak.
 
You could also try using an app that applies the proxy to your phone instead of applying it directly on the device's settings (or vice versa, depending on what you're currently doing). Or, get specific browser plugins if you only need the proxy to apply over specific browsers. If all else, you could check if other proxies also give you the same issue. Honestly, the point of failure could be one or several factors so pinpointing is important there.
 
Yeah check it on a browser and see if that is still happening, if not then it's to do with your device. Do what the other user mentioned and use a public dns

Hello! I made a 4g proxy with Android with an app called Proxidize and the DNS location is in a different from I.P country. Will my DNS match my IP location adding 1.1.1.1 a public DNS?

Not always. You'll have to find the DNS servers recommended by the ISP in your proxy’s country.
 
so if i use 1.1.1.1 and whoer.net shows "Your disguise: 100%" . And DNS : N/A . I am safe to go use this setup for Ecommerce stealth accounts?
