⚡PROXY-DB.COM — Proxy Providers Database

Good evening everybody, glad to announce that I'm not dead, maybe only a bit inside.

Big update to the website:
  • added user feedback (at least once it arrives) and similar providers to provider's overview. Right now "similar" is just top providers with proxies of the same type as original provider, will be better (in terms of similarity) in the future;
  • you now get most fitted to the search plan in the original card, no need to expand. This plan is also highlighted when provider's card is expended. Which is not much, but should be better in terms of readability;
  • strict option is gone and search is now acting like it's enabled by default;
  • sorting is gone, providers are now always sorted by trustpilot rating;
  • a bit of design updates here and there.
Added providers:
Plans for the future:
  • auto-update at least trustpilot scores;
  • check providers for using the same IP pools;
  • check providers for website availability;
  • add presets for the search (i.e. scraping proxies, sneakers proxies).

Ha! Y'all probably thought I'm dead, but eh.. maybe only partial. Spent a ton of time testing different providers and reviews are already available on the website! Was also dealing with bs in real life, so it took way more time than expected.

Reviews are _my personal experience_ of buying and using proxies from different providers. Already done 35, spent about $600 on it and all of that. There's a ton which I'm still thinking how to test because there are services which are clearly just redesigns of each other, there are also providers with high minimal order and need to decide whenever it's worth it. I will make big post about my findings and conclusions, but probably a bit later. I'm also saving fingerprint of ASN-s and subnets for each tested residential plan which later be used in detecting pools of proxy (it's already pinpointed 4 providers that are using same pool, so may be promising).

Tested and verified product for each service can be identified by "✓" next to product/plan name. Reviews are inside each provider page, right after initial information, attaching a screenshot example.

Currently working on detecting pools of residential proxies. Once figured out methodology - will be available somewhere on the website and I'll post text version here or elsewhere on forum.

For example - clustering providers based on overall similarity of ASN and subnets fingerprint:

Or top unique providers, but again - it may be due to lack of tested providers:

Anyhow - I'm still working on it and will post updates later, since this thread is basically a devlog. Cheers.

Due to an error every provider got around 10% less residential IPs than it should, fixed now.

Added oxylabs, decodo, soax and 9proxy reviews, at least for their residential plans. Bright Data is refusing to receive my money and I'm still trying to pass their stupid-ass KYC.

Did a small change to provider's page route, was /overview/provider_url, now /provider/provider_name. Old links should be working just fine with redirect.

We have contacted you via email for the details and look forward to your reply. Good luck!

9proxy seems to be down, hope they're fine, because I will be so mad about my $0.27 of commissions.

Temporary disabled feedback functionality because I have no time to deal with it and some of you can't behave.

Starting posting my thoughts and prayers reviews with 9proxy. Great provider, wish they had a free trial though. Full review and plans: https://proxy-db.com/provider/9proxy
I think, they are not functional rn, partially dead since ~july, Still looking for altrenative

They are in fact functional for quite some time now. Also people don't like their per-ip plan, apparently you need separate software for it, will test later. You can check other per-ip providers https://proxy-db.com/residential-proxies/?pricing=ip

Also I'm not dead, just a bit busy with real life stuff. Working on better reviews and provider pages, stay tuned.
